#pinklove# #pinklove# #pinklove# #pinklove# #pinklove# OMG IT'S A HAMISH THREAD #pinklove# #pinklove# #pinklove# #pinklove# #pinklove#
{aka: SAM NEEDS SOMEWHERE TO FANGIRL HAMISH YOU GUYS #loveeyes# }

I've been meaning to start this thread for a couple of weeks but I just keep adding more things and it gets SO COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL. Because I love him. I love him to itty bitty little pieces and I want to hug hum 'til he squeaks.

I haven't really watched anything with him on youtube yet (I've just been devouring the radio show, Real Stories, Spicks and Specks, and Thank God You're Here eps). But I've seen these bits elsewhere and they're super cute.

Yesterday I watched a video of him for the first time (a Thank God You're Here) and I really like him. But now from watching these I find him adorable. #pinklove# #love3# #pinklove#

And I was loling at:

"If people didn't have enough cash, I was accepting... ;) ;) ;) ...

That is eye patches!"

Thank you, Sam, for starting this thread! I really wanted to find out about him more, since so many Aussies are so excited about him being in the Two Little Boys. #cheer# #cheer# #cheer# #glomp#

Yay, I'm glad to see people discovering Hamish and finding him as adorable as I do! #cheer# #love3# I found out about Hamish and Andy's work because they're good friends with and work with a couple of my favourite comedians (Chris Lilley of Summer Heights High fame and Adam Hills, the host of Spicks and Specks). I used to be slightly obsessed with them a few years ago and then I discovered FOTC .:P I still love them though and I've been following a few things they've been up to mostly on radio through their podcasts on both Australian and British radio and random YouTube clips. Hamish is genuinely hilarious and my cousins in Australia love him too! Hmm, I don't know where to start when it comes to my fave clips. Here are a few of my favourite videos:

I haven't made it this far in my Spicks and Specks viewing yet. #cry# I still have like six episodes left. *resists urge to watch*

I have no idea why I'm watching them in order. It's not like it makes any sort of difference. #shrug# #lol#

Wow, you're good! I've mostly watched clips of Spicks and Specks in a random order and watched only a few whole episodes so far. From what I've seen, it's a great show and a pretty good take on the UK equivalent Never Mind The Buzzcocks which is quite different but I've really enjoyed watching practially all of the episodes over the past few years!

Oh gosh I nearly forgot about the Old Man sketch! Love that one! #rofl# I need to have a Hamish & Andy/Hamish Blake marathon soon! #buttrock#

Well, I've only been watching the Hamish episodes, so it's not as extreme as watching the entire series. But Hamish has been in like 50 episodes, so it's still quite a lot to get through. It's an enjoyable show though, so it's been fun viewing. I like Buzzcocks more, it's a lot more wacky and full of shenanigans (and it used to have Bill Bailey #heart# ), but they're both good for a laugh.

Hamish (and Bret!) should do Buzzcocks. #ded#

The Old Man sketch is sooo good. I didn't recognize him when he walked out at the beginning of the episode. #haha#

That's what I've been doing and it's been fun. The Caravans of Courage, the Re-Gifted/Reministmas specials, Real Stories, Thank God You're Here, and Spicks and Specks have been on constant rotation for about a month now. And the radio show, of course. It's all fantastic.

Haha, I was wondering how many episodes that would have been if you started right at the beginning :o but yeah 50 episodes is still a lot! Both shows are good in their own ways and whilst Spicks and Specks looks like a lot of fun, I love the more satirical nature of Buzzcocks but of course it does have its laugh out loud, wacky moments! One of my favourite recent episodes is when Tim Minchin hosted and Tim Key and Paloma Faith were guests. ;D

Hamish (and Bret!) should do Buzzcocks. #ded#

I may die of happiness if that happened! #ded#

I know, the prosthetics/make up team did an excellent job! From what I've seen the Australian version of Thank God You're Here was much better executed than the UK version which got cancelled anyway.

Haha, loved the latest Reministmas special! I need to watch Caravans of Courage in its entirety because what I've seen so far has been absolutely hilarious. I did listen to all of their podcasts on Absolute Radio when they did the Caravan of Courage in the UK & Ireland though. #love3#

A few months ago, a friend and I got to talking about the name Hamish, and I remembered that I had heard of Hamish and Andy. We looked them up on youtube, and randomly watched this clip out of all of them:

I need to watch all of these clips! #excited2#

Does anyone follow Hamish and Andy on Twitter?

I know Vesna does. That's how I found them on there. ;D

Hamish just tweeted and I got a little bit of butterflies. #love3#

Good call ando. Also never book a judge to do covers. They pick terrible songs and are frequently out of tune. H
