"Bret You Got it Going On"- ??- Audio Only

The place for gigs 2007 and earlier.

This was posted today and I'd never heard it before. Sounds like they're in a fairly small venue, so I'm guessing it's a couple years old at least.

That's great! [image] [image] [image] Thanks for posting it, Elizabeth! :D

You can also tell it's old because Jemaine calls Breteros "Bretalizers". [image]

I clicked on the person's profile, and they're in the UK. Maybe this was when they were there doing the radio series?

This sounds like it's from the same gig:

And aww, it was new! [image] [image] [image]

This sounds more like from HBO One Night Stand. S/He also uploaded Pencils in the wind (live) and we know this version from "Folk the world tour" album. So "Bret..." is new to me and I think it may be from the recording for the BBC Show (the sound suggests this and Jemaine explains what kind of country they're from - the All Blacks country etc., so they had to be abroad).

BTW, can somebody (Sarah when gets better?;) make it downloadable?

As an mp3 you mean?

ADD: I agree about Boom being the HBO version. I've just listened to the intro to both versions and they are identical. Well spotted... [image]

I don't think I've watched ONS enough. :P But I thought it was something smaller because it sounded like there weren't that many people there.

Cool, thanks for posting! It was definitely recorded in England because Jemaine refers to Morris dancing, a traditional English dance. And 'Bretalizers'? [image]
