This makes me laugh being able to provide the answer, but I was watching them step out of the pieces at the end of the song. I'm pretty sure it was two stretchy circles of black fabric for each leg attached to the codpieces that they just stepped in and out of.

so its kinda like a sixy jockstrap?

exactly! :P

This is the sort of picture I would love to fly back in time and show to them when they were about fifteen years old waiting to see the high school guidance counselor. "See this, Jemaine? Of all the possible occupations in the world, your job is going to be wearing a cardboard robot head and illuminating your mirrored codpiece with a pocket torch. You will be rich and famous the world over for your skill at this."

So I know this was 8 hundred... 800 (why did I spell it out?) years ago now, but I feel the need to share this with you:

Still wish someone had filmed him crotching me in the face. If I had been filming, I would've dropped the camera.

I died five times during that part of the recap. Four of those times were during the part about Bret's coy smile. I die and resurrect like lightning. [image] [image] [image] [image] [image]

[image] He knew what he was doing.

And it was funny, too, because I could tell by the look in his eyes that he recognized me. [image] "Hey, there's Sara! I'm gonna put my crotch in her face because I know she'll blush!"

I'm not sure if these are from the early or the late show, so I just randomly picked a Philadelphia thread to put them in...

I can really recommend watching these two videos.

1) Bret and Jemaine's different stories of what the note said and Jemaine's reaction had me roaring with laughter. [image]

2) The best version of Prostitute I think of the whole tour (for as long as they played the song [image] ) The audio is fantastic.

3) Nigel on steel drums. [image]

4) The taxi meter banter. Another laugh so hard moment. [image] [image] [image]
