As for me, I was up in the balcony. I had a great seat for watching, but not for photography. I did take a few videos of the songs, but only for my audio enjoyment. Bret commented as he did in Dallas that it was obvious about the recording and that people could try to cover up the red lights on their cameras.

I really liked how Jemaine handled one heckler at one point by saying leave the talking up to the professionals. Then he went on a riff about if that person wanted to talk, he should have done a soundcheck and have posters and so on.

I liked Bret on the drumset for Mutha'uckas. I was surprisbed by it more because in a different thread, it's Jemaine at the drumset. One of the photos of Bret at the drumset reminded me of Liam Finn. Yay those talented Kiwis!

Nigel Collins was a cutie pie, even from a distance. I like how he modelled the one uniform of the orchestra. Plus, later in one of the songs, Jemaine told him he couldn't think with him playing cello like that.

All in all, the show was a good one, but I personally was feeling miserable. I've been sick for several days and the hall was atrociously hot without the help of our Conchords.

The other bad for me was the merchandise. I wanted some, sure, but there were so many people in line that I didn't want to fight with them to get anything. While I haven't been to many concerts, I've seen others that had more than one merchandise station or better ways to get people in and out quickly. Oh, well.

I'm sorry that you're still not feeling well, but am glad you enjoyed the show anyway. Thanks for the report! Guess I should stake out the merch table early...

That's exactly what I saw. Everybody keeps insisting there were three people on stage but...I think they counted wrong.

[image] Well, my viewing time was more like 95% Bret, 3.5% Jemaine, and 1.5% Nigel.

Now excuse me while I go find the person who put up that youtube clip of Bret playing the drums during mutha uckas. So that I can:

I'll name my first-born after you regardless of their gender. And I wasn't planning to have kids.

All the more reason...

Ok, this isn't the best DG20 because that shii is hard to make!
