i am NOT a planner by any means, but i will do some research into stuff over there! i really think that we can make this reasonably affordable for everyone!

plus... if they decide to tour before the busy tourist season, that would be an epic win as far as prices go!!!

i suppose save money where ever you can from here on out (i know that this is easier said than done... trust me, I KNOW! )

we can do it!!!

Group discounts!!!

exactly!!!

and i am NOT above staying in a hostel!

What you need is for them to play Blackpool. Accommodation is cheap as chips there. They could play the Blackpool Tower lift (elevator). :)

You would only be able to eat chips though as that was all that was on sale when we last went. And fish. Probably some mushy peas for your five a day.

Figured this belonged here:

Bret McKenzie of Flight of the Conchords talks of freaky things

* Mikey Cahill
* From: Herald Sun
* November 12, 2009 4:11PM

[size=2]Flight of the Conchords' Bret McKenzie muses on strange experiences, such as trying to make out in a zebra costume.

[

Will you and your partner in crime, Jemaine Clement, bring your freaky tour to Australia?

Yeah we're trying to organise an Australia and New Zealand tour. We're touring Europe in the middle of next year, so hopefully we're gonna tour Australia before that. We seem to have left NZ and Australia out for the past few years.

He said "we're touring...". As far as my English grammar knowledge is concerned, I understand that it's certain? I've got 2 month holiday in summer.

If this is during my summer holiday, I'm pretty sure I might just follow them around the country.

UK in the summer =

(although it was very rainy when i visited last summer )

I've been usually in July and it's been pretty nice so far. I'd prefer August next year, but we'll see what they find the best for them.

Following them around the UK would be an expensive affair but I guess it depends on how many shows they're doing and the price of tickets. I'd love to go to a few shows though. I've been saving up in general so it's just a matter of when they decide to tour. I'm hoping it's in June/July. April/May would be kinda tricky for me (exam time!)

Mel on a nation-wide scale!

And yeah, I never thought through the whole money aspect, I'm sure I can save...or just general wing and bargain my way through.

Just getting this out now to avoid disappointment later...

I can't go. After NZ, I have no money left. I'm moving back home (er, just across town) and will try to get as much work as I can, but really doubt that I'll be able to undo the damage by summer. :(

I definitely can't go either.

You won't be alone here during tour time Jess.
