*raises hand* I think that would be me... at least I did post the day the original post was posted.. (wow that was an overuse of the word post lol) anyhoo... I just reposted it again... don't know if other Conchordians are reposting as well.. but I think its important to spread the word as much as possible and give credit to where credit is due! ;) cheers!

I whole-heartedly agree. Here's my review of the recent D.C. show (loaded with the simlar obnoxious song requests, but an AWESOME RESPONSE by Big J)...

http://dc.metromix.com/music/photogallery/flight-of-the-conchords/1098267/content

The overly-rambunctious audience began to yell out song requests, and the band obliged to some including “Business Time” (the ode to married people’s sex, which only happens on Wednesdays because there’s nothing good on TV). It was clear the guys were at times flustered, but played it off with their trademark deadpan humor, with Jemaine quipping, “Shut up drunk lawyers of Washington, D.C. This is not request night.”

Just a reminder, please stay on the topic of concert courtesy in this thread. If you have reviews of particular shows, please post them in the thread for that show in the tour section.

Thanks!

I just wanted to post...I was looking at my tickets today for seat reference. and the Riverside Theater's tickets say "photography/recording prohibited"

so, check your tickets to see if they say that. getting kicked out of a Conchords show would suck royally!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! It makes me cringe when some jackass is screaming next to me "MERMAIDS" over and over again during the Detroit show. Yeah I like that song too, but shut up!

You were at the Detroit show? Which one? I was at both :) Great shows weren't they? Whereabouts where you located?

EDITED TO STAY ON TOPIC: I just have to say, the feminine napkin camera case was a major success! They just glanced in my bag, saw the pads and moved right along! Didn't hurt they were guys checking my bag and those types of things make guys nervous :rolf:

Welcome, fellow Bretero!

I know this is off-topic, but when I saw your username I just had to say something.

Maybe you could post an introduction thread? ---> http://fotcmb.com/index.cgi?board=itro

We'd love to say "Hi!" :)

I think they've seen the courtesy notice!

There are fan sites that have guides to decorum during the shows, where you don’t throw out eye-patches or whatever…

JC: We probably don’t mind that as much as they do.

Aw. Ain't he sweet?

This thread is great. Might print it off and hand it out in the line at their aussie show next year
