I'm happy this song is slow enough that I can try to learn to play it on my uke. #excited2# Because what else can you do when you have a song in your head ALL the time? 8-) #haha# #love3#

I couldn't believe they were in London, in Union Chapel where I saw Glen Hansard, Kimbra, Andy McKee and in December going to see Dave Dobbyn with Don McGlashan. So awesome! They were amazing! Age said they were first planning to conquer the USA, but it turned out different. They're working on a new EP and planning to tour the UK next year. I'll try to post some photos and one more video soon. I've got audio as well! ;D

50 Ways To Leave Your Lover was the last song of part 1 of their show, that's why I got braver and when I heard new tunes I turned my camera on. Earlier on, I tried to snap some photos, but it went blurry and this is one of not many where you can recognise anyone. It's during Heartache, Age's playing his solo, Sam is holding a torch, Bek the curtain and Gemma a disco ball hanging on a swiping brush.

The first part of the show was mostly the songs from their latest EP, I Love You and well known hits. The second part were new songs or the songs they've performed live for many years, but haven't released yet.

I didn't know where to point my camera, because there was A LOT happening on stage during this song #lol#

My camera got overheated and I had to wait a minute or two to start recording again, that's why the beginning of this song is cut and later when it got dark, I struggled to get focus.

This is almost the end of the show. Thank yous, introducing the band and because I wanted to film the whole band, I lift my camera too high and got noticed by the Chapel staff. That's why it's not the whole song.

In the videos you can notice a hooded person on the right. She was filming the show, so there's a big chance that there are going to be some official videos from WIUO.

In the meantime, I decided to record short clips to make screen caps, so here they are together with photos I took,

Yes, Bek, Nige and Age were barefoot. :)

Anyway, listen to it yourself: AUDIO

Oh, I almost forgot. Here are the photos I took with my phone and posted on Instagram.

After the show I was able to talk to Gemma, Megan, Nige and Age. When I reminded Gemma that I was that Polish fan, she said, 'Sylwia!' and gave me a big hug. I welcomed Age saying, 'Greetings from Poland!' and he said, 'I remember you!' and had a really great chat when I almost ended up being their manager next year. No connections but enthusiasm matters. ;D Vesna asked Nigel if he was going to join FOTC for the rest of their tour and he said that no. The guys are playing shorter sets. I told him that we miss his cello and You Don't Love Me Anymore is amazing with cello in it and he said something like 'Oh, thanks, I'll have to tell them that!' #haha#

Vesna wrote a really nice recap of the show on WTF!, so if you want to read more than I wrote, here's the link to it.
